Manuela Itten
Second Year Student
I am 17 years old and in my second year of apprenticeship as a childcare worker. My school days are Tuesday and Wednesday. At home I have two cats named Leo and Simba. I really enjoy my job because I can support children in their development, give them security, and experience something new with them every day. The work is creative, varied, and I enjoy it.
Barbara Guillén
Intern
My name is Barbara, and I am originally from Argentina, where I earned my degree as an English teacher. I have worked with children for many years, including the last two years here in Switzerland gaining experience in bilingual daycare settings. I am now very happy to begin my internship, and eventually my apprenticeship, at Curious Kids.
I am passionate about this profession because I believe children learn something new every day, and each day brings fresh opportunities for them to grow. I especially enjoy encouraging their curiosity, creativity, and independence, and I feel grateful to be part of such an important stage in their lives.
In my free time, I enjoy painting, taking walks in nature, and spending time with my family and friends.
